Brain Wave is more than just a clothing brand. We aim to build a community focused on self-love and authenticity. Our goal is to empower individuals to overcome limitations and take control of their lives.
By comparing life's ups and downs to a surfer who effortlessly adjusts his position in a reshaping wave, or to an artist who lets his artwork unveil itself through the natural process, we encourage everyone to live in flow. This philosophy promotes the idea of embracing one's emotions as guides that lead us down the right path. Thus, our goal is to inspire people to express themselves authentically, without judging their emotions.
Through our efforts, we aim to combat the stigma around mental health. We see mental health struggles as opportunities for self- discovery and personal growth. It's crucial to treat them with love, respect, and acceptance, just like any other aspect of life.
Meet Miguel
Miguel is the founder of Brain Wave and the artist behind the Light Code drawings. A young, passionate soul, he was shaped by life’s challenges and learned resilience the hard way. After studying Bioengineering, a major mental breakdown became the turning point that revealed to him the strength and power of the soul. Through that process, he discovered his unique sensitivity and spiritual gifts — which he was first forced to apply on himself in order to heal.
These gifts express themselves through his art and energy work, where he channels higher frequencies into visual form to awaken clarity and balance in others. Miguel is currently pursuing a Master’s in Cognitive Neuroscience, driven by a fascination with the mysteries and power of the human mind — bridging science and spirit through his creations and his brand, Brain Wave.
How Brain Wave Was Born
Brain Wave was born from transformation — turning pain into purpose.
Founded by Miguel after a life-changing breakdown, the brand blossomed from a drawing of a self-watering flower — a symbol of resilience and self-nurturing. Later, through creating light-coded drawings, Miguel discovered the healing power of art and self-expression.
Today, Brain Wave brings together surfing, creativity, and consciousness to inspire others to reconnect with their inner strength and ride their own waves of growth.
